Nick Woodall

Nick is a partner at the Family Separation Clinic. He has worked with families experiencing divorce or separation since 1999 and joined the Family Separation Clinic in 2010, having previously worked at the Centre for Separated Families. He specialises in working directly with separating families in order to enable the whole family to manage change in ways that provide the best outcomes for children and has worked within a framework of understanding implacable hostility (sometimes referred to as parental alienation) for a number of years.

He is a therapeutic mediator, accredited by the School of Psychotherapy & Counselling Psychology, Regents University, a member of the Academy for Professional Family Mediators and hold a certificate in Humanistic & Psychodynamic Counselling. He is currently studying for an MA in psychodynamic, psychoanalytic and relational psychoanalytic Counselling at Goldsmiths, University of London. As well as The Guide for Separated Parents, Nick has co-authored Divorce for Dads: Making the Right Choices for Your Kids (Two Dogs 2010)  with former Manchester United and England goalkeeper, Gary Bailey, and Understanding Parental Alienation which he co-authored with his wife Karen.
